50% Glycolic Acid Peel

Glycolic Acid directly influences epidermal keratinization that helps address a combination of concerns, such as sun damage, acne, and elasticity. Prepping the skin is critical for maximum results.

PROTOCOL:

1. Cleanse the skin thoroughly with Gentle Foaming Cleanser, removing all makeup and debris. Perform a double cleanse if necessary.
2. Degrease: Using Peel Activator Solution (BHA FREE) or ClearBalance repeat until gauze is completely free of debris and make-up residue.
   Note: When using Lactic Gel Peel, apply and leave directly on the skin for 3-4 minutes, watch for redness. A fan may be necessary. Remove Lactic Gel Peel Completely with tepid water. Pat dry and gently fan skin for complete dryness.
3. Apply Laser Guard to under the lash line, around nostrils, the vermilion border of the lips, and the corners of the mouth.
4. Apply 1-3ml of 50% Glycolic Peel, beginning at the forehead and working down to the jawline (short/even strokes). Leave on for 2-4 minutes and watch for redness. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO LAYER THIS PEEL. A fan may be necessary.
5. Neutralize peel using Hydrating Cleanser. To cool the skin, several rinses, Hydrating Cleanser may be needed to help soothe the affected area. Gently massage any residual hot spots. Water alone may spike and trigger acids to further process.
6. Gently mist face, neck, and décolleté with Hydrating Balance.
7. To further soothe the affected area use cold facial globes to soothe the skin.
8. Apply Stem Cell Blend, leave on and allow to completely dry.
9. Apply Arnica Recovery Gel and leave it on.
10. Hydrate the skin with CopperICE Cream or Cu Hyaluronate Serum
11. Apply one of ClearChoice’s® signature sun protectants; Sport Shield SPF• 45 or Sport Shield Extreme SPF• 55.
