Flashback to 2020: healthcare workers are leaving Hospital jobs to start Med Spa Businesses
With COVID in full swing, we worked for healthcare companies, helping hospitals manage PPE shortages. We noticed two things about our friends who left to start Med Spas: First, their businesses were growing. Second, they were buying equipment and supplies from a hodgepodge of doctor's office distributors and beauty salon suppliers.
No distributors were catering to the needs of Med Spas and medical wellness providers
So, we started Medical Spa Supply, a one-stop shop for equipment, supplies, and business solutions that help Med Spas and medical wellness practices thrive.
Founders
We met as co-workers in an operating room in Manhattan 15 years ago. Together we bring a combined 40 years of experience in medical device distribution to the Med Spa industry.
Brad Palmer
As CEO, Brad oversees business administration including customer service, operations, and finance. Prior to co-founding Medical Spa Supply, he spent nearly 7 years as a Managing Director of Typenex Medical a growing healthcare company focused on laboratory and surgical supplies. Prior to that, he worked in various roles in the medical industry including product management, sales, and finance. Brad has spent his career taking feedback from clinical users and building solutions to help clinicians do their jobs more efficiently. He graduated from Syracuse University and lives with his wife and two children in the Chicago area.
Kevin Wyler
As President, Kevin oversees business strategy, including HR, sales, and marketing. Prior to co-founding Medical Spa Supply he spent 20 years with Medline Industries, the largest privately held medical distributor in the US. As the Director of Integrated Health, he oversaw corporate relationships with large health systems and managed agreements in excess of $750 million. Kevin has spent his career implementing solutions to help medical facilities improve their operations. Born in Buffalo (Go Bills), he holds a B.A. from the University of Maryland and a J.D. from Seton Hall Law School. He lives in Greenwich, CT, with his wife and two children.
