Yes. The CytoPen® S2 is FDA-cleared for professional use in medical aesthetic practices under clearance number K241355.

The S2 uses screw-in scalloped cartridge tips in 12-needle and 36-needle configurations. It is also compatible with a Nano (microderm) tip for microdermabrasion treatments. CytoPen® NG tips do not fit the S2.

The S2 is the upgraded model. It adds a German-engineered motor (7,000–10,000 RPM), battery and electric power, an aluminum shell, deeper treatment depth (up to 2.5 mm), compatibility with 12- and 36-needle tips, and Nano tip capability for microdermabrasion.
