PROTOCOL:

1. Cleanse the skin thoroughly with Gentle Foaming Cleanser or Mandelic Cleanser, removing all makeup and debris. Perform a double cleanse if necessary.
2. Choose 1 type to Degrease: Peel Activator (BHA FREE) or ClearBalance or Lactic Gel Peel apply to the treated area.
Note: When using Lactic Gel Peel, apply and leave directly on the skin for 5-6 minutes, watch for redness. A fan may be necessary. Remove Lactic Gel Peel Completely with tepid water. Pat dry and gently fan skin for complete dryness.
3. Apply 4-5ml of Mandelic Peel; 3-5 layers, Fan may be necessary for some sensitive skin types for up to 5-6 minutes after the last pass. This peel is Self- Neutralizing when used alone. Once applied to the affected area it CAN NOT be neutralized. To cool the skin, rinse the treated area with Hydrating Cleanser, and gently massage any residual hot spots. Water alone may spike and trigger acids to further process.
4. Extractions if needed and/or high frequency
5. Apply Sensitive Peel Cream Masque for 5-10 minutes. Gently remove the treated area with cool water and apply facial globes to soothe the skin.
6. Gently mist face, neck, and décolleté with Hydrating Balance.
7. Apply Arnica Recovery Gel and leave it on.
8. Hydrate the skin with Reconstructive Brightening Cream.
9. Apply one of ClearChoice’s® signature sun protectants; Sport Shield SPF• 45 or Sport Shield Extreme SPF• 55.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Stubborn acne. Many patients can control their acne with Mandelic acid especially those who are sensitive to glycolic acid. Having concerns about peeling Fitzpatrick III-VI, then Mandelic acid is definitely your number one option.
